Sunday September 8 is the 15th Sunday after Trinity. There wil be Said Holy Communion at 8am, followed at 10am by St Mary's Patronal Service and Family Communion. All are welcome.

Projects

The Electrics project

The electric wiring in St Mary's needs to be brought into the 21st century! The Friends are progressively building a fund to support this vital work - which can be completed in stages. Better and more reliable lighting (which will also cost much less to run) is an element of this project which will be particularly welcomed by all visitors and members of the congregation. Work is scheduled to start in late 2023.

Like all aspects of St Mary's Church, the is a project that 'belongs' to the St Mary's PCC, who have now given the go-ahead for definition of what needs to be done and its phasing. The Friends of St Mary's Winkfield will give a substantial grant to the PCC that will enable this to be done. A committee has been established to supervise the work.

St Mary's Bell Ringers have kindly raised funds, held by FOSMW, to be used specifically for this purpose. This augments the £830 already raised by St Mary's Women's Guild, which is in funds held by the PCC. The Friends are ready to apply a large proportion of their reserves, which now exceed £15,000.
